What's Sheryll up to now?

Caribbean (June 9-21, 2006)

The "Carnival Destiny"

one of Barbados' many beautiful beaches

There was always something to do on the ship, and even more activities were scheduled on our two "at sea" days. Here are some pics of:

The forward pool on Lido deck on an "at sea" day.

We had great weather for sunning ourselves, but I didn't partake (didn't want to encourage the cancer cells.      I have never seen the spa so crammed!

A quiet afternoon relax time with tea and cakes.
Views of our cabin - with 2 portholes, this time!

A slice or two of decadence and a cup of tranquility doth a perfect afternoon make.      We were expecting an interior cabin, so it was great to be able to see out.

Towel animals that the staff made.
A different one would appear each evening after bed turn-down service.

One night we came back to find a skate waiting for us (the fishy kind).      And there was also a swan.

One of the nightly shows in the amphitheatre (dancing, magic, juggling and comedians).

The best show was the juggler.

Turning my life around.....
